
Paris Jordan, CFA is an experienced Responsible Investment professional, the Founder of Virtuvest: the responsible investor network, and a Non-Executive Director for a CIC.
She currently works for the Wealth Manager Charles Stanley/Raymond James where she is the Head of Responsible Investing. Paris is also a member of the FCA’s Advisers Sustainability Group (Advisers’ Sustainability Group – PIMFA) and a Advisory Member to the Impact Investing Institute.
Prior to her current role, she worked at Waverton Investment Management as a Senior Multi-Asset & Sustainability Analyst. Her responsibilities related to third-party fund research and model management across discretionary and advisory clients totalling over £2bn in assets. While at the firm, she also received a Sustainable Finance Leadership Certificate from Oxford University.
She launched Virtuvest in October 2020 as a space for professional investors to collaborate and debate all things responsible investment. Having previously worked at Sanlam Investments managing over £2bn for retail and institutional investors, she has experience in investment selection and model portfolio management. As a generalist investor, Paris allocated to all asset types and geographies including long only, hedge funds, real assets and commodities.
While at Sanlam, Paris established herself as the Responsible Investing lead as she led the adoption of RI within the firm by developing and managing Sanlam’s Socially Responsible model portfolio range – she also gained the CFA Sustainable Investment Certificate at this time and worked on a number of industry initiatives related to sustainable investing.
Having started her career at Fidelity International after graduating with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, Paris has worked with a variety of client types and has over 13 year’s experience across fund selection, sustainable investing and capital allocation.
